EFDM Dripping Shards

A self-initiated project stemming from an EFDM lettering sketch originally inked with black pen and marker in a Moleskine journal (July 2012). This particular sketch was selected for further development & exploration because its softened diamond-like perimeter geometry lent itself well to informing the possibility of an extended grid system beyond for patterning. A bold 4-color scheme was selected, composed of 253 individual shards following three basic rules for composing/defining internal shard content. Adherence to these rules helps camouflage the EFDM lettering in & amongst the 24 primary shard regions.
